Fort Wayne student (and former News-Sentinel intern) Andrew Welfle left a post down below telling me that, yes, there do seem to be plans to open an Apple Store right here in Fort Wayne, at the somewhat-chic Jefferson Pointe shopping mall.

Whoo-hoo! Now I can go broke buying Apple products without having to venture to Chicago or Indianapolis, or ordering online. Now I can buy my brand of computer as an impulse buy.
Jefferson Point… that’s too bad. I can better imagine a building like this on one of the many – MANY! – surface parking lots downtown. I wish Apple was as forward thinking about environmental sustainability as they are about their products. Oh well.
