The squeaky wheel

Because of Scott‘s cranky constructive comment

Just noticed the stationary tree background. Kind of reminds me of mySpace pages. Are you sure about it?!?!

… I have changed the background to take away the trees, to see if I like it better.

MySpace. Hmph.

Sorry, but I’m not the only one who can’t stand MySpace…

Graphically, many MySpace pages look like a teenager’s bedroom after a tornado–a swirl of clashing backgrounds, boxes stacked inside other boxes, massive photos, and sonic disturbance.

Ha! Trust me, I don’t like MySpace that much at all.

I cobbled together a sorta-OK-looking page for my music on MySpace, but it’s still ugly compared to any professional web site.

And you know, I’m liking this page without the background trees. Simplify! Simplify! I should listen to Edward Tufte some more.

Yes, simplify! I don’t know if you realize this or not but when you go to http://www.jonswerens.com, ActiveX goes crazy and takes over my PC. Is there no way to simply put a link somewhere to play music if you’d like? :)

Either way, it’s much better than my site. haha
